Just saw Match of the day and saw Burnley getting thumped by Man City.

The cameras showed a large number of fans getting up and leaving after just 20 minutes when Burnley were 4 nil down. One individual was seen punching a wall on his way out (what a hard man).

My question is this surely as a football fan you go to watch your team through thick and thin win or lose no matter what league they are in and you stay til the bitter end?

Is it better to see your side get thumped 10 nil and see some amazing football or leave after a few goals and miss all the action?

Then again are we looking at the sort of fan who will change allegience as soon as there 'Premiership' side gets demoted and they chose another side to support ?

What a beautiful game that was.

I would find it hard to leave a game early, because I am a tight git who thinks that leaving early means I am wasting my money by not seeing a full 90 min of football
