I am disgruntled, make no mistake, but I am not here for confrontation as the name may suggest.

I am not Mr RAF - I am proud to serve, but thats as far as it goes.

I don't like RAF terminology - like bosch, bop, thats life in a blue suit, scaley brat, scran, shiney, techie, lecky, rock apes.

Why am I here? Almost everyone here uses those terminologies?
Well the RAF is diverse, and not everyone uses those words. But enough people do to wind me up.

I hope to have some great conversation with everyone.:PDT_Xtremez_09::PDT_Xtremez_09::PDT_Xtremez_09:

Erm welcome to the goat disgruntled08 you will find us a good bunch, in fact its sometimes like an online bop on here! There are plenty of scaley brats, shiney's, techie's, lecky's and rock apes about for you to have a bit of the old banter with, you could even pull up the old sandbag with a few of em! Of course its not always fun but hey thats life in a blue suit. Enjoy!!!:PDT_Xtremez_14:

I don't like RAF terminology

Felicitations of the day to you, good Sir Disgruntled08 and a Hearty welcome to the Goat ... I am afraid the common parlance used in Her Majesty`s Royal Air Force for the last 91years and a day, is very much of a colloquial nature. Manners and a willful disrespect of those who clearly have a better education and breading is sadly an everyday occurance. It is most strongly manifested in the neanderthal trade known as Air Defence. Fortunatey these Ork like creatures are now almost extinct, you are therefore unlikley to have to suffer their countenance or have to engage them in any meaningfull discourse. However should one of these fettid abominations blunder into you, the best way to distract them is to point at anything rotating. This has an hypnotic effect on them and you can make good your escape ... (non RAF-speak)

Bablefish "ON"

Now Foxtrot Oscar ya Sprog ... :PDT_Xtremez_06:

How long have you been in? You may have reached the trough of disillusionment.

:S

Hello, i love a good raf c**kism every now and again! I also am new to the goat, I must confess I'm mainly here as a leech to pick the brains of the longer serving folks to add to the experience of my 4 tender years as an SAC and hopefully enable me to get what i want from the air force. I'm not all selfish, I give to charity (honest!), I'll be glad to make any contributions where I think I'll be useful!
