Don't blame Green

  • Following weeks of work, the E-GOAT team are delighted to present to you a new look to the forums with plenty of new features. Take a look around and see what you think!
HAHAHA, Didn't take long for this to appear on the goat. Looks like my bet of 1-1 might actually come through lol

Are the commentry team watching the same match i am? The USA have been moving the ball around well and pressing England high up the pitch, thoroughly deserved equaliser even though it did come about courtesy of the inevitable fcuk-up we've come to expect :PDT_Xtremez_42:

USA are not going to get another gift like that, but it will have raised their moral. England have to start the second half the way they started the first by closing them down and pressing.

And sub Green.

Don't blame Green?

The useless tw@t, even I could have stopped that FFS

The complete and utterly useless cnut!

got to keep Green on otherwise it will destroy his confidence and Calamity James is even more dangerous with an un-tested (on the World stage that is) Joe Hart as back up, USA are playing better than we are so an equaliser was on the cards, hopefully Fabio will kick them up the arse at half-time...

Heskey's doing well (that hurt) but Crouch time soon I reckon. Stop press - Green makes save FFS

Rooney seemed to be harnessed tonight...he was quiet and lacking in any passion.

I don't know what the commentators are on but they weren't watching the game I was...I saw a US team that played very well for 60-70% of the game...They worked harder at movement on and off the ball and ran their socks off which was evident in the 70-80 min period when England looked like they were getting on top...every time a ball spilled loose it was at the feet of a Yank a second later...Being a Leeds man some of that team must be out of contract and we would do well to snap some up!

The ball seemed to vex both sides...is it me or does it look bigger than a normal ball...also it seems way faster off the surface than other balls and this showed with many passes going astray or out of play...

overall a 5/10 from me for England but they should still qualify...

completely unimpressed. Agree with PSBM. Anyone who thinks england will win the WC are mad.To score a goal it helps to actually have possestion for more than 3 secs. We only play well at a high tempo, all the opposition have to do is slow the game down and its game over for england. Heskey(!) and gerrard were the best players for england, WP did sod all. Fat frank did his usual, what the hell was that free kick. Looked like waddle's penalty in 1990 only further out. Ok green made an error but surely our world class team could of put another one in. Obviously not. Absolute dog egg.

Come on the dutch as i have them in the sweepstake at work

As Steve MacMan said, 'If England are to do anything in this world cup they need to play 100 times better'.

Don't blame the ball. I didn't hear Korea slag off the ball when they beat the team who were the European champions in 2004.

It’s time for us to stop being arrogant and being lead by the UK press. Let’s be honest

Not impressed at all - although I must admit Heskey did a lot better than I thought he would. The lads had better sort their sh1t out for the next outing but credit to the sceptics for their performance, Donovan played a blinder for them.

Well I still have some faith in the boys! It was the first game and yes it should have been an easy win but the Yanks have allegedly been playing well lately. Still, it could have been worse!!!!:PDT_Xtremez_42:
