I think you should try it at home...well maybe just at work in case you blow up your kids...It's a mess cannon...bloody brilliant fun.

These things on some SQN's act as a secondary duty for the juniors O's...God forbid it should be nicked or flattened (they're only bean tins, in this case the catering size ones, welded together) whilst in their charge.

I'm really surprised that more people haven't been maimed by these things...Only by the power of alcohol and it's protective properties has this been the case so far...:PDT_Xtremez_35:

Thats like a capgun compared to the old TWCU lineys cannons, imagine a 12 ft lino cardboard tube, big coffee tin, lighter fluid and breathing oxygen, If it wasn't for the hangar roof (about 50m away) a bodge tape wrapped rock would have been breaking windows in Bury St Edmunds!! The recoil crushed the tin!
Unfortunately no video, just memories!
 
Clearly no one told the aiming team that if they had taken his head off it would have stopped him playing his bass for the duration of his tour!!!!!
