A gang of us are off to Dublin at the beginning of next month and was wondering if anybody on here has stayed there before (Temple Bar area) and can recommend any decent but cheap accomodation for 12 people?

Jurys Inn, Arlington and Parliament hotels are close to or in Temple bar various family have stayed at these during the 6 nations hope it helps. Enjoy the Black Stuff !

Your best bet are the hostels in Dublin. There are plenty in Temple Bar area. Basic beds, mostly bunks in dorms, but you are right in the atmosphere of the area. Plenty cafes for brekkies & the bars are brilliant! Get plenty of Craic!!

I thoroughly enjoyed Dublin. Did the touristy bits, Trinity College, Guiness brewery, open top bus tour, etc. As well as getting legless!! :PDT_Xtremez_30:

As my home city is Belfast i am a bit baised... Y not go to both cities when over there mate? Dublin is great and some good places to have a gander at Esp. the old Kilmainham prison and good shopping in Grafton street.
Belfast is foooooorking great now. Get yourself on the terror bus tours!! Leave your ID card at home though if going to Dub or Belfast. Still some throbbers around over there that might take offence believe it or not ..lol
