I'm in regular contact with a pal in the 'States who is having trouble getting mail to me on my main address. Despite finding (via Orange webmail) that my inbox was stuffed with about a thousand SPAM messages and then clearing it out, he still gets trouble. As Orange are not top of my Favourites List, can some expert please explain the following error message he got?

Haven't got a clue, why not set up either a yahoo and/or gmail account. Always allows you to pick up mail if away from base and in case your main account gets goosed. You can then confirm if it's the senders problem or the receivers.

looks like the wanadoo email server is blocking the email from the gmail domain(this may be an antispam measure and could be perminant or temporary), ask your mate to try it from a hotmail account or any other.

........................wandaoo.co.uk

Is the last part of the e-mail address correct?

Is your ISP wanadoo or wandaoo?

Just a thought

read his post again and you will notice that the "d" in wanadoo is missing. This could be the problem

I got a response from Orange.
They wanted more details ? Huh !
I'll pass on the "spelling" thing to my respondent, just ot make sure.
Thanks guys.
