just a quick question im looking to re-muster

how long is the training at keogh barracks initally?
has im currently married with children would i be entitled to a married quarter down there?

Keogh Barracks

Keogh Barracks

Hi,
Yes, married personnel can have a quater but there are none on the tiny camp, the closest being deepcut. It is a Fsc towards a Bsc (Hons) you will be studying though, so from a study and work load point of view it would be better to be unnaccompanied. The 26 month course is split into 4 blocks. blocks 1 & 2 are at keogh with uni days once or twice a week(2 hour commute there and back.......long day) and will take 11 months. Block 3 is your 10 months placement which will be at RAF Henlow where you will complete a portfolio of evidence and block 4 is 5 months back at good ol keogh. Keogh is closing though and DMSTC will move to Whittington Barracks in the next couple of years.
