Does anyone know if passing a course is a criteria of shutting down an ELC? I've looked through JSP 898 and all I can find is the course needs to be completed and it doesn't stipulate pass or fail. I'm asking as I failed one part of my course but I'm wanting to use another ELC in June. The next available exam for the one I just failed is also in June so the dates don't add up for me.

I used one last year and aside from the setting it up with the College (filling out the form and getting the College lady to do a few bits on it) I never heard a single thing about it again...I'm assuming the money got paid and no-one at any point said it wouldn't if I failed. I think it might well be down to completion rather than passing.

You might get a quizzed if you applied for the same course again, but I'm pretty sure that once they've paid for the course that's the last you hear from them.
