Hello fellow goaters,

Ive just arrived in sunny Kandahar and im about to take on a challenge raising money for the RAF Benevloent fund, im aiming for £2000. I plan to cover 1000 km on cardio machines over the duration of my deployment, in addition to this i will lift free weights totaling 168000 kg - the equivalent of 8 fully fuelled Tornado GR4 a/c. For those of you who know me, you will understand this represents a considerable challenge to me ; i am not your average sport billy (as my previous P1 record will attest) Please bear in mind this challenge will mean i have to cover 10Km per day and shift 1.68 tonnes per day to reach my target. This will be in addition to 12 hour shifts on the flight line. I have a small number of days built in to my schedule to allow for injury or operational distraction.

Please view my Just giving page and donate what ever you can, i will update this thread regularly to let you know my progress. Thank you.

Will you be wearing a respirator? If so I could be tempted.....

Good for you;
A process of a modest contribution is started (I have trouble with Just Giving).
But it will get there, mate.

I would sponsor you but I seem to remember that you would sprint 10km at the mere whiff of a Ginsters and your lunchbox was only slightly less than 168000 kgs. :-)

I'll sort the dosh out if you do it mate. Be careful though last time you did that tour, you left two thirds of yourself out there...

Keep safe....
