Anyone going to watch this? I personally cant be bothered after the last WC fiasco . Gonna open a bottle of Shiraz and watch a decent DVD ie. Fly Fishing in NZ and relax and enjoy myself.
Be interesting to see how big the crowd is.
 
The trouble with watching England is that it can be at the extremes, either very good or complete Sh1te as in the WC. I, like you, will hedge my bets and settle for a bottle of vino and a DVD.
 
There will be a decent crowd for this judging on the turnout for the recent friendly v Hungary when 72 000 turned out.

I'm not watching from now on. I cant be bothered going through the same nonsense every couple of years, or of reading comments from the cretins in the press who howl for blood after every minor thing.

True. However, my focus will be on Scotland.

Scotland are starting to look promising (under an English manager nonetheless) & with Argentina in the same group (with Scotland recently beating the Argies) then it really does look interesting.
 
You boys are very fickle and are learning(have already learnt)that although you invented the game you have no god given right to win.

To many Johnny forgieners in the Premier Leauge me thinks.

Scotland are worse than sh!te but me and another couple of million faithfull fans will be getting a few beers in in anticipation of another humiliation,bad luck story or who knows even a rare win.

Also about 3000 plus tartan army will travel and be great(if somewhat drunken)ambassadors for Scotland and Britain regardless of the result.

I've sat through it and can honestly say they played well! But. What the hell has Darren Bent got to do to get a game for England????? Rooney has been shi+e all game but gets a full 90 and they take Defoe off for Ashley Young????

Make that months and months, he should be dropped until, if and when, he starts doing the job he is paid to do, namely score fcuking goals.

Don't know what game you were watching but in the one I watched tonight, Rooney provided the passes the enabled three of the four goals. His skills seem to be developing into a Gascoine-esque role.
