What am I entitled to while on exercise (4 weeks)? Field conditions as part of PDT etc?

Cheers

Dampness, and sharing a tent with someone who either farts or snores. Or both.

Lack of sleep, and realising that the tent that smells and has snoring is better than staring at a clump of trees at 4 in the morning in the rain.:S

No food and accom charges if you live in, and LSA.

AFAIK he's not entitled to LSA unless he is part of a FU who have special dispensation otherwise to be elligibal to claim it you have to be overseas for more than 10 days. Right on the no food and accom charges though and also you used to be allowed to claim the money for your food if you had to travel more than five hours to the exercise from your PU but I dont know if you still can.

I thought if it was operationally focused then you got LSA if you cannot get back to your home address during periods of standdown (doubt you will get any if on a Pre deployment exercise) so if away for 4 weeks should get LSA as you exceed the 10 days so are eligible?

You are correct Mug, RAF Bird is a bit of a sprog but high on MOD pills. We all got LSA for the colours parade last year.
