Had to register today before I depart from the "Shiney" Path. Having received the good news about my redundancy application, I can honestly say that my 34 years has, for the most part, been great. However, the last tour not so - thus it is time to go.

I wish all of you remaining behind the best of luck and fortune - and good health as long as you keep your head down.

Quick thought, wouldn't you have been better off under the new pension scheme given the years you've already done?
 
There is a time for everyone to say, enough is enough and certainly there have been, in my eyes, too many changes going on all at once just recently. I fear, however, that there are still many to come; some will be for the better but, unfortunately, so will be for the sake of change. However, I have only been in for 32 years, so I have still a lot to learn!

Good luck with whatever venture or path you decide to follow.

I was - but I've transferred back to AFPS 75 since I had 5 years to do. In an ideal world though, you are quite right - if only it was an ideal world...!
