Now then, none of the home nations qualified in this so..............

Who are you supporting and why??

For me, its Holland. When over there at Bruggen and down Roermond, all were very nice people and supported us when we played (even remember in 2000 when Germany beat us with a dodgy free kick-Dutch hated them!!)
So I'll have an orange top on this summer....plus same group as the frogs!!:PDT_Xtremez_17:

Not particularly arsed TBH.

Though I am going to watch England at Wembley on Wed. (I must be stoopid).:PDT_Xtremez_42:

Personally, I'm going for Spain - the great underachievers of European football, after England of course. Like England, you think with all of the depth of talent and strength that they have, they would be trailblazers in world football, but they lack consistency at commitment at the given times. However, on their day, it's easy to see why La Liga Primera is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, league in the world.

Doesn't Poland count as one of the home nations now ?
If not I want Turkey to win, best detachments of my life.

Germany for me. Spent 9 years of my 20 there, feels like a second home. Equally, I think they've got a good side that could do really well.

has to be portugal for me. spent more than half my life there and Ronaldo is a damn good player!

Gonna miss England being there and FAILING greatly despite the commentators still trying to tell us they are potentially the best in the World with the Golden generation and all that b0ll0x. Miss the banter on that one.

Wonder how long it will be before John Motson et all ask the question "So how do you think England would have fared if we were there??" or "There are no teams here that would frighten England!"""

Will miss Scotland being there if just for the fans showing us up in a good light despite being put out in the first round after playing CR4P football and not scoring a single goal!!! (Euros aren't usually good for us even in qualifying!).

Will watch it while on shift but not really bothered who wins TBHH....

My money is on Spain. As said earlier they are the under achievers but I think they might just do it this time! Torres for top goalscorer!

After the first few games, I reckon a Portugal v Spain final with Spain edging it. Both teams seem to be a different class. Holland to finish 3rd.

I hope you're right, I've got Spain & Portugal in a sweepstake so either team wins and I'm rich!

A few disappointments tonight then.:PDT_Xtremez_17:

B0ll0x! After the rather unimpressive form by Germany so far, I had Portugal down to win.
::P:

My frau is still bouncing around the house. It's as though Germany won or something.

Still, at least she'll have a hangover tomorrow.

I take it the box heads are driving up and down the road blowing the horn then?

Or is it just my street?:PDT_Xtremez_35:
