Would like to hear from any old 56 phixers. I was a rigger JT/Cpl between 84 and 92 at Wattisham.

Welcome to the Goat!

I was at Wattisham the last day the Royal Air Force handed over to the Grunts and their farty rotary hydraulic palm trees. ::(:

Back in 93' it was sad to see the line of Tombs being broken up and sent to the scrappy and the skies of Suffolk have been empty of rolling thunder ever since.:PDT_Xtremez_37:

Wilders is a Ghost town too!

Was at Wattisham on 74 - twice.

Never really wanted to leave - happy at work, loved the area, some really good Det's.

Easy life!!! :PDT_Xtremez_28:

Welcome to the goat, put your feet up and order a round in!:PDT_Xtremez_28:
Wattisham still has RAF there btw, a SAR flight operates from there.

Welcome from another ex Phantom comrade (29 & 23) from the eighties golden years, when Jags ran (as fast as their little ardours could push them) in fear.:PDT_Xtremez_42:

228 twice and 23 wattashame here, howdy pard, (have I mentioned I have been to America for my hols?)
