Hi, can any one give me gen on how to go about getting an exchange posting or where to find the relevant information? I don't want to mention it in the office until I know if it's viable! Been banging my head trying to find info on Dii! Cheers in advance!

I don't think they officially exist anymore so you need approval from both sets of line management and then approach manning.

Due to projects Apollo, Zeus, you will have to stay where you are for 3 years till your Future Avaiability Date (FAD) Like downsizer has said, I dont think they are done anymore, I am sure a nice chap from PSF will be along to correct us all in a mo....

There's no such thing as an exchange posting anymore. All assignments for Cpl's and below are now done under Apollo rules which basically means they are list based. As an example if you wanted to exchange to get to Lincoln everyone who is a higher priority (final tour of duty, collocation or any volunteer for Lincoln that has been in current post for longer than you) would be mighty pee'd off if you got there by swapping. As for how long you have to do in location, it's all down to your rank and trade and is detailed in your career framework. Assignments for SNCO and above are all under Through Service Career Management (formerly known as Zeus) where it's all about the right person for the job so no swapping there either. If you're a jnr, speak to your Unit Careers Advisor to find out what the chances are of you getting where you wanna go.

Hope this answers your question.
