if you receive home to duty and then go on a course at a different unit does your home to duty stop and you receive something else or does it depend on how long the course is?

When you start your course the unit you are attending should change your location on JPA which should stop home to duty and start GYM(D) which is an allowance based upon the mileage from your home Unit. Hope this helps.
