Just a bit of background for yer...

Joined '88 did the Swinderby thing closey followed by that well known seat of learning(sic) Halton.

Off to Lyneham for about 18 months, Wildenrath, Bruggen, Leeming, Cosford, St Athan and currently sunny Brize.

To answer a couple of your kind questions....

I was at Wildenrath from Jan '90 to Dec '92, just before they closed the camp (ba***rds) and used to spend many happy friday nights lobbing Heiny cans across the Mally at the Jag Sha**ers.

Might have been seen ragging around on a clapped out Maggott!
 
Sadly no hissing sid on the roof when I was there, the usual zap wars on wagons etc though.

It wasnt APC But copper flag Tyndall AFB Florida 1986. A joint 92/19 venture. Best det I was ever on (MCS Bloke). Rates, Sun, Florida etc etc. The rear party painted it to get back at us cos they were pi***ed off.
 
I remember the Sid on the roof of the crewroom. Also remember the 92 Sqn painted car, some type of clapped out old estate, red & yellow chequeds all over.
 
Welcome Phixer I was one of the mighty crew who formed 19 (res) sqn in 1976 and then onto 92 in 1981, I saw them in You saw them out.

As you see i was there too, jet check checking. although most of my three years there are a lot of a blur to be honest, was also there as the gates closed for the last time. heres a link for you to pull up a sand bag over.

Sorry 'bout the insult on the last bit, me GE was an ex Sid(boo hiss) and he nicked me keys!!!!!

I remember good ol Mr Spliller very well, various incidents at Christmas livin in do's etc !!

Stuck in the Deid at the mo an the spam net police wont let me look at the vids but will check 'em out when I'm back in dear ol Blighty !!
 
Just had chance to check out the vids of the mighty 'toom, bleedin brilliant !!
might just chuck me porn collection away now ! Looking at when they were filmed I probably saw a couple of 'em off as well, makes yer proud. Good to see N**** S***** again too - proper nutter that bloke (in the best possible way ha ha )

Cheers Pan Warrior, had to go all pc with the pic 'cos i couldnt find a picture of a mighty 19(F) jet, ho hum. I figured i'd use anything but a Sid jet ha ha.
