So how did your lot get on?? Any non-league teams represented on the goat? Well done FC United of Manchester (All you premiership primos can wait a few months)

The mighty Stanley from league 2 are in the hat for round 2 after crushing league 1 Oldham 3-2. :PDT_Xtremez_30:

The mighty Huddersfield could only manage a disappointing draw at Cambridge, but I am sure Town will pull through when we get them back to the Galpharm!

Well done Accrington and FC United of Manchester - unless we get you in the next round!

Not a team that I follow, but nice to see Swindon Supermarine progress to the second round. This was their first ever time in the first round.

Would be funny if the draw Swindon Town in the next round.

MK Dons and AFC Wimbledon will meet for the first time if they win replays:

AFC Wimbledon or Ebbsfleet v Stevenage or MK Dons

AFC Wimbledon v Franchise FC, I really hope it happens, c'mon the crazy gang 2010 version.

Harry I shall pop into your office tomorrow, just for a social chat of course, with hardly any gloating at all.:PDT_Xtremez_30:

Greedy Geordies

Greedy Geordies

I couldnt make the Sunderland v Stoke game due to mrs MWD working, so I thought I'd go and watch a local side with the kids. Notts Co v Gateshead was the one I chose, only to find that it was over £20 to get in for me and not much less for the mini-MWD's. It seems that Gateshead refused to allow the prices to be cut to £10/£5, so Notts Co were forced to charge top-whack. They clearly weren't happy as it was on their official website as to where the blame lay! At almost £50 for 1 adult & 2 kids, I decided not to bother.

The crowd was just over 3,000, with only 260 visiting fans making the trip - well under half their average gate of over 7,000.

Even non-league clubs are greedy so and so's these days.

No TB... I don't want 3 or 2 sugars in my brew.

I will also be careful on those bottom 3 or 2 steps!
