Hello,Wondering if anyone can help, both myself and other half are both serving and due for OOA, Mr P is due to go away in March back early August, however I have also been pinged for one in May. This will need deferring as we have a child. Does anyone know a) if there is a harmony time between one coming and the other going? it has been banded about that is should be 6 months between us b) if so where can I find the information? We're both happy to go away but for the sake of our child we want to make sure that we don't only get a months difference for example. Any help gratefully appreciated

Unfortunately harmony times are only guidelines and guidelines that are regularly breached because there are no consequences for doing so.

I wish you luck though because it can't be easy.

Go and see your Chf Clk. There should be 6 months between the return date of one and the departure date of the other. There should be an assignment restriction on each of your JPA records to ensure each Career Manager talks to the other before taking drafting action.

Lol good luck on this, I've met lots of couples who basically get told tough...the raf didn't tell you to marry another service person..get on with it. It's hard with both of you in, hope it works out.
