I'm off down south in Feb and when i leave my 2 son's will be 2 and a half years and 4 months. We are based in Cyprus so my family will be entitled to 1 return flight. The thing is my wife is not too keen on flying home by her self with the boys, but wants to go home to see our friends and family. Does anyone know if we can have an additional member of the family fly with her on the trooper?

I believe the answer is unfortunately no. However, she can have her flight tickets commuted to civ flights for members of the family to come here.

I had been back to blighty just before my other half went away and claimed to travel warrant for my sister to come here for three weeks.

A trooper flight for a non-indulgee can cost in the region of 900 quids and there are even less guarantees than there are for mil passengers.

I have travelled on my own with small kids and it is honestly not too bad or perhaps your partner can claim a civ flight to a regional airport if you live a long way from Brize and therefore a family member can travel with her at normal civ flight rates?
