Fantasy e-goat FA cup

All the teams in our fantasy league will be entered into the E-goat FA cup.

Draw to take place on Thursday the 3rd Jan 2008. Witnessed by Capt Slog and any other goaters at work I can find. Scores from the next full league gameweek to count.

RULES

Fantasy Cup - The knock-out rounds.
Each team will be randomly drawn against another in the first round.
Each round drawn fortnightly except when internationals and real FA cup weeks clash.
The winner (the team with the highest gameweek score), will progress to the second round the losers are out!
This process continues until the final when the two remaining teams contest the E-Goat Fantasy Cup final.

If a cup match is drawn, then the following tie-breaks will be applied until a winner is found:

Most goals scored in the Gameweek
Fewest goals conceded in the Gameweek
Virtual coin toss.

The observant amongst you will have noticed we have 65 teams in the league so therefore the first two teams out of the hat will contest a preliminary round to get the competition to 64 teams then 32,16,8,4 etc.

My team, Top Bananas, are currently 50th in the league but not mentioned in the draw.
Would like a decent cup run to make up for the poor showing so far.
can I please be included in the draw.

Looking at the list of teams that Tin Basher has posted, there is a team at No.9 'Wilkinson no bottle' that doesn't exist, so my guess is that it has slipped in somehow when TB has cut'n'pasted the list.

I will leave TB to sort out how he plans to correct the issue, but had a bit of spare time on my hands so decided to find where the problem was to help out a little.

I know what the problem is...... I hit the leave league button this morning by accident, but bizarrely it must have happened between Tin Basher cutting and pasting page 1(top 50) of the league and cutting page 2. So the guy in 51st place moved to 50th when I left, hence how he was missed out. I am back in the league now and there are 66 teams....... Sorry for my Fupar but it was just some freak timing!


P.S great idea for the cup!
 
That is wierd, when I checked 10 minutes ago, I was in 9th place and Wilkinson no Bottle wasn't in the table, back to the drawing board I guess.....

Have seen it sorting in progress. Post containing teams edited for clarity and search for team 66 commencing today. Sorry for the confusion if any one else is missing please let me know.

The draw has been made and the preliminary round is this weekend so at half time so to speak with two matches tomorow here are the preliminary round provisional scores so far from the fantasy league website

Match A – Walk On 80 v The Mighty Stanley 29
Match B – R Stone Villa FC 40 v Woman’s Wanderers 17

With only a few players from each team involved tomorrow who knows??

For the mighty stanley if my keeper saves around 4 penalties and my other two both score hatricks I may not lose by quite so many:PDT_Xtremez_42: . Now to concentrate on the league and attempt to escape page 2.:PDT_Xtremez_30:
