My own personal favourite is the French chap with the beach ball and the WAAFs doing the backing singing from last year.

That's the first time I've heard a French singer in English and, I hope, the last.

Come on, be honest, you didn't Really enjoy the programme did you? Was your wheelchair out of action, or were you tied down, on a promise or maybe even drunk ?

The only good thing about the Eurovision SC is that they (apparently) take it seriously and we don't. Wogan's the only good reason to watch it, and only under duress.

(PS. "Sing little birdie", Pearl Carr & Teddy Johnson)

I can honestly tell you that I absolutely adore the show, and the song I posted is a perfect example of why I love it. I sat there watching that live and was laughing my head off. It's just the most amazing TV event of the year, guaranteed to make me belly-laugh at regular intervals, nothing on TV even comes close to doing that to me. :D

Fair Enough. I thought for one horrible moment I'd found someone who think's the music /politics / razzamataz is actually quite entertaining. My daughter liked it for the same reasons.
