Surprisingly at Old trafford for once Fergie time didn't work in his favour so now the grumpy jock wants the ref to be relieved of his time keeping duties. For 20 odd years Fergie time at Old Trafford has worked just fine in sneaking draws and grabbing late winners. Is this just a case of the boot on the other foot or does Taggerts stunt double have a point about neutral timekeepers?

I think you made the point. The is certainly the first time he has moaned about it an I dont recall it being a point of argument with anyone else.

Conclusion: Red nosed tw*t loses again, at home, and isn't man enough to just take it.

It did make me laugh when they were playing ****e in the first half and he was looking at his watch to get them in for the hair dryer treatment.... So too much extra time in the first half and not enough in the second half.... he keeps forgetting that theres 90 minutes from the start of the game till 'fergie time' begins so he should just shut the feck up and get his team playing.... I'm always amazed how when they loose it's not cos they were playing crap, it's because the other team were lucky, there wasn't enough extra time or they didn't have one of 'their' ref's playing for them.

Though being a geordie i don't mind when the mancs loose as they seem to think they have god given right to win every game! I've been having a 'discussion' with my other half nephew about it but i don't really listen to him as he's born and bread in Aberdeen but hangs onto fergies coat tails - glory hunting cos Aberdeen are ****e. It says everything when there's a team up here crying out for support and theres a charter flight down to manc land when man Spew are playing at home...... Maybe if some of the locals spent their money supporting their local team they might be able to get some better players in and win something but they'd rather fly to manc land and give their cash to the yanks..... But thats another discussion!!!!

"They gave us four minutes [injury time], that's an insult to the game. It denies you a proper chance to win a football match."

Its amusing but ultimately he's not the first and nor will he be the last manager or player to come out after a game and say something without engaging their brain.

You will find a lot of Dons fans/Aberdonians (sadly) have a soft spot for Man U, he learned his management skills with the Dons, winning the Euro cup winners cup, scots cups and league titles. When he left he took most of the coaching staff and we've been crap since. Oh and Fergie is a hypoctrite, the scousers should have humped man u but the ref handed it to them on a plate

Yeah i know all of that... i just find it barking as someone who was brought up to support their local club. The other half uncle used to be a season ticked holder at Aberdeen.... he keeps an eye on the score but thats about it he cares more about how fergies new boys are doing, his son has 'always' supported man spew apparently and they can't see why i think they're all strange. They spent last new year at my house singing ****e songs and trying to burn a newcastle shirt then got upset when i started singing a song about a runway, etc.. If you don't like it, don't come into my house and try and burn a newcastle shirt was my answer.

It's like Alan Pardew going to manage Rangers and me suddenly becoming a Rangers season holder it's feckin barking!

I hope the FA slings a disrepute charge at the Scottish winger but I won’t hold my breath, they will probably change the rules just for games at OT just to keep in Fergie’s good books. Still, he won’t be on the TV much longer giving post-match anti-ref rants as there is another Premiership manager who is taking over as an even bigger “the Ref hates my team” winger – his name is Brendan Rogers. By the way FFV, I hear that Allan Pardew has appealed against his new 8-year prison sentence, sorry I mean contract. :highly_amused:

Not my quote (but tremendously apt, think another Goater stated it previously)
"Fergie must be regretting resting Howard Webb for this game..."
