Hi guys,

I am new to this site so please be gentle with me :) i wanted to make you aware of two events that are being held at The Prince William of Gloucester Barracks, Grantham, Lincs in aid of Help for Heroes and the ABF, the Soldiers' Charity.

The Festival for Heroes is being held over the weekend of 7th-8th July and will comprise of a military village with both live & static displays, cookery demonstration theatre, speciality food & drink, motor show with both new and classic vehicles, 4x4 off road experiences, children's village, live music and a great deal more. Tickets cost £5 in advance and £7 on the day with children 0-15 admitted free of charge. They are available from www.festivalforheroes.co.ukDuring the evening of Saturday 7th July the Barracks will rock to the sounds of X factor's Amelia Lily and Jamie "Afro" Archer with appearances by That Sunday Feeling, The Hummingbirds & Major Dennis Hannant with comedian Sean Percival acting as MC for the evening. there will, of course, be a licensed bar and a wide variety of food available to buy. Tickets cost £20 and are availabel from www.gigantic.com

Our aim is to raise £50k over the weekend so please do come along and show your support. It promises to be a great weekend!
