All they need to do now is get rid of that cnut Blatter and they'll be sorted.

I think FIFA have got a right cheek here. Brazil by law does not allow booze to be sold in stadia as one way of preventing trouble end off. Maybe FIFA should have thought about that before granting the world cup to Brazil. To ask a soveriegn government to pass a "world cup law" to satisfy the sales and marketing needs of a major sponsor is arrogant in the extreme. Obviously if they demand this of Brazil then Qatar will also be mandated to allow Brazilian and Swedish lady footy fans to wear what ever they like whilst swilling their sponsors beverage of choice on the terraces of a FIFA world cup. Because surely FIFA will demand, nay insist, that the cultural norms and laws of Qatar will have to been ditched just like Brazils. I await the Qatar government passing of suitable "world cup bikini and booze law"

Why not sell low-alcohol beer ?
Just for special events in Brazil, for instance, although some might argue that American beer is pretty low anyway.
