Final Termination Pack

I have been expecting to receive a Final Termination Pack through the post as stated at item 24 of the Discharge Checklist (AP3392 leaflet 701 annex A). It stated that the service leaver should receive this in their last month.
Having only 2 weeks left in service and not having received said pack i rang JPAC to be told that there is no such thing as a final termination pack. Does any other service leaver have any idea what item 24 is referring to?
Also any recent leavers that can say how long after final day of service they recieved their gratuity?

My last day was in July and I recieved my gratuity within 5 days. You should get a testimonal and a certificate of service thru the post. Oh and not forgetting your veterans badge!
 
Tnx for that Welove31 - already had my testimonial, i am guessing my certificate of service is what my final pack is all about.
5 days, that was quick, i was expecting 10-30 days. Thanks again!
 
Left 7th October, Gratuity in the bank on the 19th. Happy days !!!!!!!! Bank manager will have fallen off his chair,

Do these come through the post without applying for them?

I'm not out till May. so obviuosly no pay off yet
However I've had all my service leaver pack, testimonial and certificate of service. Came in a nice blue folder a couple of weeks ago. Someone must have bought a job lot of folders mind, cos in the back is asks, if lost return to RAF Insworth,

Do they really care?
