And thats the best we can do is it ? Spending most of the first half and pretty much all of the second half chasing down a Welsh team that is ranked somewhere below Antartica in the football rankings. A Welsh team managed by (don`t get me wrong here, the guy`s a legend at Elland Road) a bloke whose only experience is 18 games that got Sheff Utd relegated into Div 3.

Why is it that as soon as these men pull on a white jersey they`re unable to pass to another white jersey ? For a section of the community that does nothing but train with a football all day every day, why does that round thing suddenly appear so alien to them ?

The critics might say that Wales came with a game plan to get men behind the ball, if so, why did they have better possession, and carry more of a threat going forward ? And if Smalling`s international class i`d better not pop to the shops tomorrow in case i miss Fabio`s phone call calling me up.

I`ve got a theory about the England team. Now that all qualifying competitions are seeded, we never actually play anybody good unless its a friendly (and then who cares?) or we`re in the latter stages of a tournament. And when the likes of Germany trounce us theres always the excuse of being tired, altitude, the papers back home stirring up trouble, WAGS going shopping, etc etc etc, when in actual fact we`re just $hit.

I'd better prepare myself mentally for all the p1ss taking Germans I'll have to listen to next year....

Ah, but, where it counts the most......

The England Squad is doing particulalry well, wiping the floor with both the Papua New Guinea side and the Icelandic 'Magnus' team in the International Farnarkling Shield competition.

Well said T93 - leave the prima donna's to the ladies game while the real men watch a proper sport....

same old same old

same old same old

Nothing new on show here, we will as usual give the ball away cheaply against the better teams.
Just not enough class throughout the team. Nothing Capello can do about that.
