Just watching the highlights on bfbs of the Everton vs QPR and am absolutely dumbfounded by his commentary as it actually bears very little resemblance to what is being shown on the screen. I know from the MOTD crowd that the defenders will usually favour the 'great tackle', whilst the forwards will go for the 'obviously a foul' decision Mr Neville's interpretation leaves me thinking he needs glasses. As a neutral there was an obvious penalty as Hoylet was fouled but according to Neville the defender got the ball, which balls he was looking at I don't know and Peinaars sending off was more down to Bosingwes dive than a poor tackle but yet again Mr N missed that as well despite his fellow commentator seeing what we saw Nev was adamant he was right and dismissed his partners observations.

I realise that as a Liverpool fan I should immediately shoot myself for saying this, but oddly enough I've found Gary Neville to be one of the better pundits, although perhaps not co-commentators, that Sky wheel out.:PDT_Xtremez_42:

Don't like the guy he seems to forget he's supposed to be neutral as a TV pundit. Although privately we all know he's Man Ure through and through for his day job he must demonstrate neutrality and support no one. As a pregame or halftime pundit some of his stuff is OK as an in game commentator he's poor.
