Does anyone know how much GYH(D) is nowadays? I'm going on a course next month about 420 miles away and I don't have access to the intranet for a while. I've tried google and searching this site but can't find the daily rate. Even just a rough idea would good, like is it £1 a day or £5 a day.

If my understanding of it is first and foremost you need to be away in excess of 10 days and as at 1 Aug 09 the correct rate for being 420 miles away is £11.22 per day. However you only qualify for GYHT if you have sufficient time over the weekend to spend a whole 24 hours there. If this is not feasible the LSA is the way forward.

But I'm no shiney, I've just checked the JSP on Airspace, so if I'm wrong I'm sure one of our resident shineys will help you out.

Cheers Sniffer, that's the numbers I was after, I know about the LSA thing but unfortunately in theory I can get home at the weekend (although I only get 26 hours at home so I wont bother) so I can't get LSA which is worth a little bit more to me.
