Hello all, got an admin type question. I applied for a GYH(O) warrant authority the other day, it was approved. My plans have now changed from what I applied for. I'm still flying/driving etc but the routes have changed. I rang HR and told them thinking they'd cancel the warrant and that I would have to apply again for the warrant to include my new travel plans. The HR staff said that doesn't happen and a note has been put on the warrant which will highlight the change to the HR staff when I apply for the money once i'm back from my journey. Does that seem right? I don't want to be audited only to find out the claim was wrong and i'm screwed! Thanks.

Have the destinations and costs changed. If so that may well affect the costs to be reimbursed. If not then no real problems

Yes the costs/destinations have changed, not bothered about the reimbursement figures, glad i'm getting extra money to help towards the cost. I'll only claim what i'm allowed and I'll keep receipts. Just didn't someone to say I was fraudulent because my warrant stated lets say Gatwick, when actually I flew to Edinburgh, that sort of thing.

As far as I am concerned, if your destination airport changes then your entitlement to MMA at the destination end will also change and therefore you should resubmit your GYH(O) warrant request accordingly. If you don't do this then the costs you have been quoted that you can claim will be incorrect. Your flight cost may also have changed and will affect your entitlement too. Personally, I would ask PSF to cancel the original request and resubmit.
