On Friday afternoon, Sausage2 and myself had the good fortune to meet Bruce Dickinson! It's not every day that a rock start visits you at work.

I have to say he is really nice chap. He was more than happy to pose for photographs with us and sign autographs for anybody who wanted them. The guy is a great ambasador to rock music, and the airline he flies for, I am sure are very proud to have him on their books.
 
I have watched many a documentary about Mr Dickinson and his passion for flying.

As MingMong said, what a great ambassador and what an absolutely brilliant person.


He really is a living rock god.

In other words, BD took one look at S2 and feared for his ring piece, told him to feck off and reminded him of the police injunction in place for stalking and you now want time to photoshop BD into a piccie with both you and S2 :PDT_Xtremez_42:
 
Fortunately S2 doesn't appear in any of the photos I have of myself with Bruce, if he did I wouldn't be able to show them to my kids for fear of them having nightmares.

Ping, hes one of those nu rave superstar DJ's that frequent the likes of the top Ibiza clubs such as Pacha etc........

Actually he is the lead singer of the little known band Iron Maiden he also happens to be a fully qualified airline pilot that helped fly back Brit tourists caught up in the XL fiasco! top man by all accounts.

I can top that, I shared the stage with Joe Cocker back in November 1994, Sheffield City Hall for a 2 our gig.
 
Who the feck is Joe Cocker? Sounds a bit gay to me...

Bruce Dickinson is an all-round geezer official!!!!:PDT_Xtremez_19: well educated he was an Olympic standard fencer, he was expelled from school for urinating in the headmasters dinner:PDT_Xtremez_31: he is a milionaire rock legend and he flies planes for something to do in his time off. apart from S2 & Ming Mong he has been first officer on flights involving England and Rangers football teams. It is also rumoured that he himself was a pretty handy footballer and that Iron Maiden did play in a few celeb 5-a-sides where they took joy in giving loads of poncy boy bands the good news.

Just as an aside I did think about introducing a thread for the e-goat a sort of hall of fame of people that the goat looks up to because of their words deeds and actions or just because they are inspirational in some way, Bruce Dickinson would be my first candidate for "The E-goat salutes!".

Bruce also cancelled his holiday in order to help holidaymakers stranded by the collapse of XL, he was flying with Monarch just to help out because thats just the kind of guy he is!!!!!:PDT_Xtremez_19:
