Afternoon all,

Just thought I'd drop a post to say hello and explain why it has taken so long for a silent browser to become a forum member.

Well, hello to start with. I decided to join the forum after some length of service for a few reasons really. Firstly to help people that want to explore other avenues of service career and secondly and more importantly really to gain some more information from people that might have been through what I feel I'm currently going through.

I have always tried to seperate my work life from my family and social life, hence never signing up before, but feel now that with circumstances in my life changing and the RAF undergoing reform and reduction, I could really do with support from like minded people.

I shalln't not be a massive forum user but I'll explain a little about me. I've been in 8 years just gone, TG18, promoted last year and looking at other RAF employment avenues. Unsuccesful at OASC 18 months back, now looking for what the future may hold. Any ideas? bearing mind the shocking state of remustering, commssion or NCA. My ambition is to take my Logs Commission, but then who isn't, it's very popular and massively over populated already.

Thanks for reading my first post, please feel free to PM regarding my last para.

Welcome aboard misc,

Could I suggest that you keep this post just for your introduction and use other areas of the forum to ask your questions. Many people don't bother to read the intro posts, so your questions may not be answered by somebody wh is able to offer advice.

The 'Service Gen' forum might be your best bet.
