Hey everyone. I'm Jack, and i start RAF Halton in 2 weeks, 23rd July.

I'm joining as Aircraft Tech Avionics. Yes....a fairy. Hopefully, i will get placed on a fast jet squadron, so i could end up working on the Typhoon, or the F35 when it enters service, but i would be happy anywhere really. I have heard Heli squadrons are out and about a lot, so that would be a good experience too!

I feel i got a lot out of my Pre-RTC, but i know it is only a tenth of what will hit me when i get off the bus for the real deal. I am looking forward to the challenge though and i am confident in getting through!

Bascially that is an overview of things as they stand. Cheers!

A warm welcome to the Goat, and particularly a would-be Fairy.
There's too many plumbers round here, although they are a good bunch.
Me?. I'm an ex-fairy. . . . . .
