Help, please!

I am using a "Garmin eTrex" GPS for recording my paraglider flights. However, I am sick and tired of going through the menu and manually getting the data I need for my log book. Does anyone know of a FREE, Mac compatible software package that I can use. Not too bothered about linking it to a map, but if thats available too...

I have done a search or two, but the vagaries of Google, and being in Peru have made this difficult.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!
