Hi there,

I'm new to the site, so thought that I would say hello.

I'm an ex RAF Marine Branch "Webfoot" ( Trade Group 7 as was ) who joined the RAF to go to sea, long ago in 1969.

The Branch was disbanded & privatised in 1986, so there aren't many of us left around nowadays.

I look forward to hearing from any of you.

Welcome to E-Goat Scran Bag. I have a few mates that used to work at RAF Mount Batten on the rescue launches. They all said it was the best days of their life. I think there maybe another marine fella on here as I remember a few pictures being posted in the photo gallery of different launches etc.

Take a look here http://www.e-goat.co.uk/photoplog/index.php?n=256

Members name is soupdragon

Anyway, take care mate.

Welcome.

Welcome.

Welcome ScranBag,

I vaguely remember a few marine branch boys, or at least I thought they were, when I was on my diving courses (SubAqua that is!)

We were accomodated at Mountbatten & went down to Plymouth docks to start the day.

Anyway enough. Welcome to the Goat.
