Hello goaters.

New to e-goat, not to forums. 21 years in and still hanging on. Currently with the GR4s somwhere in England on the worlds first fixed wing flying sqn.

Unfortunately my first post was to announce the deat and funeral arrangements of a friend - John Longstaff, Armourer - see Births, Deaths and Marriages section for details (obviously)

Look forward to some banter, etc

Might even meet a few folk from the past.

Welcome

Welcome

Hiya Dude....never knew John but sounded like a great guy...much like most on here...hope he has a good send off......

Enjoy the goat as and when you can it is fun....

Crack on....:PDT_Xtremez_09:

It's the send off I'm worried about. He was a popular armourer so they'll be coming out of the woodwork. It will be a military funeral so it No1s, medals, rifles, flag draped coffin - the works. I thought he might have been cremated and then packed into a flare mag and popped out over his beloved Yorkshire. ;-) Anything is possible if you ask the right people - or do it and be damned.
