My name is AL, I'm from London, 25 years old and basically I'm interested in joining the Armed forces at some point... Preferably by the end of 2011. Unfortunately I was lazy and foolish in my younger years, smoking weed and being a lout but fortunately I've become aware of that now and am working on my fitness with the hope of joining the RAF Reg as a gunner.
I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can from this forum and hopefully making some friends in the process.

Just a general question, save me making another thread. The RAF is blue and the army is green but the RAF Regt is green also, is that correct?

Quite a vague statement there Al.

There are plenty of 'normal' RAF who wear green and depending on their job, a few rocks will wear blue!

HEHEHEHEH Sorry about that. Its just what my impression was of how you identified yourself. I just thought, if you're grounded you're green, sky you're blue and sea you're another shade of blue and as the RAF is sky and with that theory be blue I wondered about their Regt who are based on the ground and if their uniform/identity would be that of blue or green.
I was only thinking of what colour tie to wear when I go to the PGAC lol.

Hi Al. You may wish to search for 'Penguins Suck' who used to be a Regt Gunner. He should give you plenty of useful information.....:PDT_Xtremez_42:

That would be a good idea if PS was still around but I think he is keeping his head down with the possible paternity suit hanging over him:PDT_Xtremez_14:.
 
Ahh... Jaymac - Your point is a very valid one. I would suggest that Al keeps tabs on LondonLady's posts just in case PS/Kevin/Dale replies.
