All you GE types out there does anyone know of the definitive kit list that you're supposed to be issued? ie torch, flying jacket, Delias guide to in flight meals..........

Ubiquitous GE wallet. Plenty of pockets for an amount of the most common currencies likely to be required, eg US$, €uro, various types of Arab blats, etc. Universal travel plug adaptor that will also convert 110v to 230v. Noise cancelling headphones. PSP / iPod etc. Selection of fuses and terminations for your aircraft (only for use if the kite breaks somewhere sh1t). GSM phone. Set of civvies smart enough for mess when the crew decide your one of them (may be rescinded the next night on arrival of more aircrew mates). Credit card. Phone list for all key engineering personalities at home base. IDP. 2nd passport. NATO Travel order. Sunglasses, sunblock, beach / pool gear. List of RAFALO mobile numbers around the world. Zaps so you can take revenge if your aircraft gets zapped. RAF goodies to bribe airport officialdom around the world.

That any good for a starter?

NB Not a GE, but was on the RAF's premier AAR Sqn for a while, with some of the best.
