If you don’t feel quite ready to take on the full Edinburgh marathon, why not join up with 3 friends and split the distance, running for the RAF Benevolent Fund in the 2009 Chevrolet Hairy Haggis Team Relay?
Sunday 31st May 2009
Edinburgh
The event follows the same course as the fullmarathon incorporating some of the most famous landmarks of Scotland’s capital city as well as the beautiful and dramatic coastlines of East Lothian. This course is reminiscent of the 1986 Commonwealth Games route making it one of the fastest and flattest races in the country.
By taking part in this fantastic team race and fundraising for the RAFBF you’ll be helping to ensure that we can continue to provide vital welfare assistance to all members of the RAF family in need.
If you think you’re ready to take on this unique hairy challenge please get in touch. Your support is extremely valuable to us and to show our appreciation we’ll be on hand to help you all the way with fundraising ideas, advice and a barrow load of encouragemet. But be quick, places are already running out!
