I've just done 2 day selection for the Army at Pirbright knackard now! lol

My back played up( ithink i pulled it) in the run so i got defered for 6 months

Can I still join the RAF instead of the Army?

Mike.

Hello.

As far as I know, you can still apply for the RAF as long as:

a) Your back is not long-term knackered.

And more importantly:

b) You can give the CIO a better reason for wanting to join than "I can't be arsed to wait for the next Army selection dates."

Intresting!

Yeah. I alwayed wanted to join the RAF for a while now.

So yeah If I Dont pass selection next time i'll consider joining the RAF :)
My back is ok just think i've pulled a muscle.

I would like to Thank all of you in what your doing over in Iraq and Afganners, Keep it up! Give them Hell and Crack on!.

::/:

Sorry to hear that your not aloud to wear Uniform in public. stupid yobs. :S

I've always been proud to be apart of the RAF! as a Cadet obviously!

Thank you TrenchardsLoveSock for the Information!

I agree with TLS about the back, the RAF may tell you that you have to wait just as long to go through their selection process when they discover the full details.

What made you try for the army in the first place?
