Hello all!

I thought I would come on here and introduce myself. I have been shadowing the forum for sometime, generally searching topics that others have posted, trying to answer my own questions.

Currently a University Student (Cannot wait to be set free!!) and work part-time as a Police Officer when I can around my studies, just generally trying to gain life experience. Don't hate me - I think those are the two most hated professions. :PDT_Xtremez_42:("Tax dodgers and a pig") :S

I am a Skier and love the sport to bits, sometimes wishing my University debt didn't get in the way of doing it sometimes. I am a raquet sport fan - off later to have a game of badminton (Well to get my ass kicked - no harm in trying to win! :PDT_Xtremez_30:) Giving Sailing a go in the new year - thought I would try something different.

Currently looking at joining the RAF, but have reservations and don't want to sign up until I am happy it's what I want to do. I come from a non-serving family and have only heard rumours about military life. I am looking forward to researching it a bit more on the forum. Aerospace Battle Manager and Flight Operations officer has caught my eye so if anyone wants to talk about their field - I will be happy to listen!!

Cheers :PDT_Xtremez_30:

Welcome and I'm so glad you didn't say you were going to join as a copper as so far anyone I've met thats had civvy copper experience has hated our training, we've lost 3 because of it I think.

I'm an ex student as well and it doesn't really make a lot of difference with regard to most things, apart from the debt you carry with you (unless you're going officer) I'm so looking forward to losing more of my wages due to my loan coming out!

Military life like anything else is what you make of it, you like sports it seems which is a great thing because you can make loads of that once you're in - one guy I know has been in the same amount of time as me and has spent most of his time playing cricket than doing anything else :PDT_Xtremez_30:

quit whining! it was your choice to go to university and get massively in debt.

sympathy lies midway between sh1t and syphillis as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, Brussels sprouts are the worst for the silent and violent ones.:PDT_Xtremez_09:
