just joined E-Goat and wondered if anyone would be interested in seeing some pics of ice carvings that i have recently done of military aircraft. also hopefully have some new ones of a Seaking and a Apache Longbow heli.

if anyone has an idea for a challenging design do let me know. I've attached one pic of a Chinook for Headley Court. it was an ice luge that allowed vodka to be poured through. Needless to say loads of vodka was drunk through it that night!!!

thanks.

That's excellent and a severely nice way to say hello on the goat so welcome.

As far challenges, I will let the more challenged brigade on here set you up!!

Could you do one of an E3D?

One of the sqn's must close this year so there will be a modicum of 'socialising' to be had and this could be a new idea for a function...

E3-d

E3-d

Thanks for the replies. And Vim, the E3-D wouldn't be a problem. And it can be a luge so vodka etc can be poured through. Did a Spitfire for Northolt and they poured flaming sambuca through it - sounds good!

I think the Apache is going to be the hardest so far.

Feel free to mention to the base that is closing that we do large discounts for the forces. I've attached a few more pics that might be of interest.

On a different note, i carved a soldier with sa80 on a regimental plinth for a training college up north. It measured 2.25m high and took a lot of carving. believe it or not they tried to cancel it just before delivery and didn't understand that they are carved in advance! Mad.

Regards,

John

Why'd you post a picture with two big t1tted birds in it? I couldn't see an ice sculpture anywhere! :PDT_Xtremez_42:

So how much would an E3D cost then...mates rates/best price and all that?

I'll post some tits in ice if you like!!! yeah winter is my summer so to speak...sometimes carve in a t-shirt in freezer but normally only -10.

the E3-D would be around £340. thats with £120 off but not including delivery and vat. Some additional discount can be made depending on how far in advance its paid for etc. #
If you ever want to know how good they are at summer balls and mess parties ask Lyneham.

cheers,

John
