Thank you for the welcome ! It's many moons now since I was in the RAF, but I must have done something right, because my son joined the Army....and my daughter is married to a soldier !! Oh well.... My son was a musician, and served twenty years, my son in law is an infantryman (sergeant) with half a dozen medals on his chest..... but neither saw the strife that I saw when I was flying my desk.. I was in serious trouble when my 'bic' pen ran out of ink !
Those were the days !

I've just found my way back to this thread.... thanks for the encouragement, the lamp's swinging alright, and the sandbags are comfortable !

I was at the doctors on Friday, and he was sounding my chest, I asked..."How I do I stand, doc., ?" he shook his head, and said, "That's what's puzzling me !"

Oh well.......
