Well, finally got around to saying hello.It's only taken a few months.As you can see ex-scopie(75-85).Any others from that era?

Welcome. Not a scopie but I did play risk once in 1984 and I drank a lot of tea and watched telly "to keep abreast of world events" so I suppose that counts.

I believe you are making a slight error, allow me if you will:

Fighter Controller: Overly self righteous, arrogant loudmouths (responsible for just about everything flying - if you ask them).

Weapons Officers: Failed FC's - still loudmouths.

IDO: Identification Officers - failed FC's / WO's and not loud enough.... Or Scopies who have done some great note taking over the years and play Golf/Rugby/Footy etc with FC's/WO's/IDO's.

Scopie: note taker - tea drinker - random fcukers - funny chaps usually as GSOH is a must for this lot.

Scopies - feel free to expand or deny.
