I've just finished with the Mob, nearly cracked the full 37 years but I submitted a PVR-ed a few months early simply because a very nice job just bimbled up to me and as the cliche states... they made me an offer I couldn't refuse!

Look forward to catching up with all those from the years...

The Green, Green Grass of Norfolk.

Aircraft Technician, one of the old ones, multi-splitter, professional sqn animal for most of my time - except for a few punishment tours (Saints) and when I got red-carded by 'er indoors when the sprogs marched off to uni and I wasn't allowed to go swanning off round the world leaving her on her jacksy. Had to stay in...

I now work for a rather large aerospace company that is intent on taking over the Mob.

...and thanks for the welcome. I've enjoyed lurking around and seeing all the jargon (and hot words flowing). Just like old times... well, not so old times.

...they pay well.

With the nice people at OTT offering a second gratuity (if I live to 65) ....and to pay my pension from as soon as I left ....plus 3 months on two salaries ....just couldn't resist.

It was Apr, I was finishing in Oct anyway, the job was offered - no brainer!
