Hello Everyone!

After the occasional 'nose' once in a while (OK then, on a regular basis!!) as a guest, I finally felt that the proper (and decent) thing to do was to 'sign up' and become part of the 'Family' (A bit like joining the RAF really!)

Speaking of which - Joined in 1980 as an LMechAD and left in 2005 as an EngTechEL (Just before TG4 got her claws into me!!)

Sad to say that I do miss it (mostly the 'crack' and camaradarie - which is sadly lacking in my new vocation) but after reading a few of the posts on here I have noticed the good ol' quirky service humour is alive and well and I thank you all for it!!

Anyway, hope to get chatting to you soon!

Cheers!!

Welcome...what is your new vocation?

Oh and welcome back to the family....

Hello and thanks!

I'm now an electrical trainer/assessor for young apprentices, getting them ready for the 'real world' after they're done with school!

It has its moments, and I sometimes feel that a good dose of the sort of service discipline that I had to endure during my trade training would not go amiss. But getting the little darlings their qualifications is a high!!

How about you?

At the moment Vim is in training(hand to hand combat)to kill a few motor mechanics!! hee hee.:PDT_Xtremez_19:

Oh hi by the way welcome aboard

I sit around all day looking bemused....
