Hello everyone,

I stumbled across this forum when I was searching for info on RAF careers and application process information and would like to say a big thank you for all the information that has come in handy. I passed my PRTC last week and I'm now eagerly waiting for a final interview date. I don't think I've ever wanted something so much so hopefully I'll be sticking around for the foreseeable future :PDT_Xtremez_19:

Welcome to the goat, what trade are you applying for?

ICT Technician, the job role suits me perfectly and I can't wait to start basic training. We were the first PRTC to get issued brown Alt Berg's so I have to start breaking them in soon. I just hope the final interview goes alright.

All the very best to you, I know nothing about ICT. But there are plenty on this site who can give you a helping hand

Very well done.

Top tips; the head you have on your shoulders has proven fit for task at the outset, but your body is going to need lots of care and maintenance throughout.

Don't let things go.

Thanks, that is a very good top tip and a tip that I will take on board. I'm good at eating the right things and I should imagine during recruit training you'll need all the carbs you can get along with fruit and veg.

I'll do my best and train as much as I can over the next four weeks.

Have no fear, you will eat like there is no tomorrow, and all that will happen is you will lose weight. Just make sure the bodily bits are ticking over and that you make them work - all the kids I met on hold with med issues were not happy bunnies.
