Hiya Everyone iam new to the site and just wanted to say a massive hello.

I have just finished all my tests to become a supplier but still waiting for a date to join the basic training does anyone have a clue when this will start?

Thanks Jason

Hiya mate, welcome to e-goat. Dont have a clue when your basic will start but good luck for it.

Sorry, can't help you with a start date. Have you asked the AFCO?

Start to simulate stacking blankets now though, it'll make things easier for the future. Remember to occasionally put a blanket to one side though and then imagine someone asking for a blanket in the stores department. Your only option at this point is to say "No, you can't have one because I've only got one left. If I gave it to you, I'd run out."

Be prepared for some stacker baiting. If you do encounter some, which no doubtedly you will, just remember that

"Logistic considerations belong not only in the highest echelons of military planning during the process of preparation for war and for specific wartime operations, but may well become the controlling element with relation to timing and successful operation."

or just retort with "W@nker!" :PDT_Xtremez_42:

Indeed Kiwi. My previous comments were obviously tongue-in-cheek and the supply chain is an all-important part of any military collective/objective, just ask Adolf.
However, why does it generally arrive late or at the wrong destination?

;o)

Ping

My learned friend and colleague. Blame the movers! Unless you're referring to on base issues where generally techies order the wrong thing from their illegal black book at the wrong priority. :PDT_Xtremez_35:
And I guess Supply does make some mistakes, but then don't we all?

Trig,

Welcome, which stage are you at in the process? Post AST/Interview/Med/PJFT?

hey up mate, i am in the same situation, have been waiting 8 weeks so far for p-rtc but have no idea of any dates yet! Did they give you any indication at the end of your interview?

Welcome to the goat trigger!

You will not get a date for joining until there is a definate training place for you. We're taking it 1 month at a time at the moment. You are not alone and there are probably a couple of hundred people in the same boat. Be patient, and you'll hear something in due course - however, I suspect you are now looking at 2011.
