I shall follow the good advice given and lurk awhile before saying too much. Just to introduce myself I served in the RAF from January 1961 until the end of 1972. An odd number because I joined as a Boy Entrant and signed on for nine years which did not commence until my 18th birthday. I was a member of the RAF Forum which seems to have closed and remembered this site being mentioned so I thought I would check it out. Will be a bit different I guess as many members will presumably be still serving whereas the RAF Forum was populated by old beggars like me!

Anyway I look forward to seeing what goes on here!
