Hi, discovered this site whilst trying to find info on Aden. I joined up July 65, was in Aden - Steamer Point - Dec 65 til it closed then was welcomed to another 6 camps until my demob in 77. I'm looking forward to reading your posts (and contributing also)

I've just re-read my first entry and realised I gave nothing away !
I'm Brian Sandison, retired 4 years ago to central France to escape the UK weather.
I enlisted July 65 and visited Aden, St Mawgan, Hullavington, Old Sarum, Akrotiri, Aldergrove then Boulmer.
Once I get the hang of the forums, I'll be posting a query to Aden vets about the frequency of range firing (my audiologist asked me)
